SKL Agri Division

Precision Farming for Performance Agriculture

Introduction

The SKL Agri Division is a core component of SK Livestock’s vertically integrated operations. With over 1,400 acres of managed agricultural land, we cultivate essential crops that support our livestock and feed operations. By developing our own agricultural base, we ensure long-term supply chain reliability and operational efficiency across the SK Livestock system.

Our Role in the SK Livestock Value Chain

Agriculture plays a foundational role in our integrated model. The SKL Agri Division sustains our feed mill and feedlot operations by supplying consistent and traceable crop production. This reduces dependency on volatile grain markets and enables quality control from land to livestock.

Crops We Cultivate

We grow a focused portfolio of high-impact agricultural crops:

  • Rice – premium crop production for food and supply chain needs
  • Wheat – strategic seasonal grain ensuring ration stability
  • Potato – large-scale commercial crop with mechanized farming
  • Corn (Maize) – essential energy component in cattle feed
  • Lucerne (Alfalfa) – high-quality forage to support animal nutrition

Modern and Efficient Farming

Our agriculture operations follow planned land development and mechanized precision farming. We deploy efficient land preparation and crop management practices to maximize field productivity and align farm output with the requirements of our feed-based ecosystem.

Strategic Advantages

The SKL Agri Division strengthens the resilience and competitiveness of SK Livestock through:

  • Secure supply of feed crops year-round
  • Cost efficiency in raw material sourcing
  • Reduced exposure to market price fluctuations
  • End-to-end traceability of inputs

Linking Land to Livestock

The Agri Division is not just farming land, it is a strategic supply advantage. By producing our own crops, we reinforce consistency across cattle nutrition, feed formulation, and finishing quality. This strengthens export readiness and contributes to sustainable livestock growth.
